Tony Saleh is a Marine Engineer with an unlimited First-Class Certificate of Competency issued by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
Prior to joining Taylor Marine, Tony was at sea for almost thirty years, having joined the Merchant Navy straight from school in 1989.
Following his training and subsequent qualification as a Marine Engineer in 1993, Tony went on to sail on a variety of different vessel types, including container ships of varying sizes with Harrison Line, Oil and Gas tankers with Esso Petroleum and Cable laying ships with British Telecom Marine, before moving to the ferry industry working with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company in the capacity of Chief Engineer on board Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax and fast ferries.
Tony is a full member (MIMAREST) and Incorporated Engineer (IENG) of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology. Tony is also a committee member of the Liverpool Marine Engineers and Naval Architects Guild.
