We are pleased to announce that Emre Ozbirinci, Master Mariner, has joined Taylor Marine’s Hamburg office as of May 2025.

Emre brings with him a wealth of seagoing and shoreside experience, having served as a senior deck officer with leading Turkish shipping companies before transitioning to a shoreside career in marine consultancy. Over the past decade, he has worked extensively with P&I correspondents and consultancy firms, most recently holding the position of Head of P&I Turkey.

Throughout his career, Emre has represented shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, H&M underwriters, and law firms in a wide range of matters including major marine casualties, cargo claims, MARPOL incidents, salvage cases, condition surveys, and personal injury investigations.

His in-depth operational knowledge, combined with his hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of claims and casualty work, will be a valuable asset to our clients and team.
